SUMMARY:
SNR LEGAL MANAGER: REGULATION DEVELOPMENT required for a client from Aviation Industry

POSITION INFO:

Minimum requirements:

OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Assist Technical Divisions in developing legally sound and concise regulations and technical standards;
Manage and spearhead the formulation and approval of regulations and technical standards through a consultative process with the aviation industry
Manage Secretarial support of the Civil Aviation Regulations Committee (CARCom)
Provide regulatory and general legal support

QUALIFICATIONS:

B Proc or LLB admitted as an Attorney or Advocate (successfully completed pupillage with a recognized association)
Regulation and legislative drafting certificate

EXPERIENCE:

Regulation and legislative drafting training
Contract and legal writing training
Attorney or Advocate, Relevant exposure to amongst others interpretation of statutes, Admin Law and Commercial Law in General - 5 Year(s) Post Admission experience - 5 Year(s)
Regulation Development and provision of legal support services
Drafting of Legal Opinions
Litigation Process
Drafting of Contracts
Management - Guide and mentor Legal Advisors and Regulation Development Administrator
