SOFTWARE DEVELOPER

SUMMARY:
SOFTWARE DEVELOPER - CAPE TOWN

• At least 2 years’ experience in building complex, database driven web apps
• Relevant degree or diploma in Information Systems or Computer Science

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities:

• Working with business stakeholders and UX practitioners to gather and spec requirements
• Developing in Python, with Django, Postgres and Graphql
• Developing on a js SPA
• Writing ad hoc queries and extracting data to support business
• Write code, do code reviews and testing

Key Requirements:

• At least 2 years’ experience in building complex, database driven web apps
• Relevant degree or diploma in Information Systems or Computer Science
• Excellent Maths marks (for Matric and degree/diploma)
• Experience working with Django and Graphene
• Experience with Vue.js, Vue Router and VueX
• Experience with Postgres
• Solid understanding of Git and Git branching and merging strategies
• Strong understanding of complex data structures
