SUMMARY:
Our Client based in Sandton is looking for a Software/Development Engineer

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:

Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent required
BSC Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
A minimum of 3 years’ experience in software development
Programming and High-Level Language (C++, C, C#, Python)
Experience in Software and Hardware
Working Knowledge of Signal and Image Processing
Understanding of Visualization of Medical Images in a Windows Environment.
Experience in developing product under ISO13485 for medical devices
Electronics and embedded processors advantageous
Micro controllers (plc, intel, Atmel, micro processors) advantageous
Documentation control: ISO 9001 advantageous
Big advantage Signal and/or image processing
Design and develop software applications
Test/review on a regular basis with project team and/or end users
Generate Acceptance Test Instructions (ATI) and corresponding Acceptance Test Result sheets (ATR)
Generate applicable manuals
Lead and manage development tasks & projects
Analyze needs and present system architecture
Generate required development documentation
Design system architecture
Initiate specific applications to be developed
Maintain existing software/hardware by updating and/or fixing bugs and document if necessary
Update data pack and/or software release version
Adhere to change process
Computer literate (MS Office, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project)
Technological foresight
Analytical Ability - comparing data from different sources; identifying cause and effect relationships
