JOB SUMMARY:
A South African producer and supplier of a specialist coatings and industrial paints for the construction and industrial market is seeking to appoint a Sales Rep to service the Johannesburg and Pretoria areas

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties:

Calling on existing and new clients in the following industries:
- Construction industry including waterproofing,
- Industrial protective metal coatings or
- Industrial protective floor coatings
Provide solutions to clients
Conducting demonstrations to customers when required.
Attending to customer’s enquiries and resolving all issues professionally.
Compiling quotations and following-up on orders.
Researching and driving strategies to develop the market.
Drafting and presenting product related presentations at seminars and exhibitions as required.
Meeting monthly and annual sales targets.
Identifying areas of growth within the region and identifying possible strategies to enable this.
Building and maintaining relationships with existing customers.
Attending all product training as required.
Must have experience in the same industry
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential.

Requirements:

Relevant paint / coatings or similar tertiary qualifications
Must have experience in calling on clients in the market segments:
- Protective coatings,
- Waterproofing products,
- Specialist and automotive coatings,
- Flooring systems,
- Concrete repair mortars,
- Grouts and
- Joint sealants
Must have the ability to provide solutions for clients’ challenges.
Unendorsed driver’s license
Very good technical skills
Good communication skills
Highly driven
