SPV Accountant (Financial Services)

This position is limited to BBBEE candidates due to BEE requirements

Location: La Lucia

This position is limited to BBBEE candidates due to BEE requirements.

A reputable financial services firm located in La Lucia, is seeking to appoint a proficient and versatile SPV Accountant to prepare month end accounts for various SPV (Special Purpose Vehicles) entities within strict deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparation of month end accounts.
Reconciliation of balance sheet and control accounts.
Raise VAT invoices for intercompany transactions.
Completion and submission of VAT returns to SARS.
Preparation and submission of annual and provisional tax returns.
Reconcile control accounts.
Process and reconcile bank and investment accounts.
Assist with interim and year -end audit queries.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting or equivalent
3 to 5 Years finance related experience in a finance department at Accountant level
Sound telephone and email etiquette
Ability to implement systems and to ensure that these are followed
Microsoft Suite
Fully vaccinated status - certificate will be required due to company policy.
