SUMMARY:
Are you an SQL DBA who is looking to join a company that thrives on brilliance? Then look no further.

POSITION INFO:
Our client is looking for an SQL DBA to join their team. The successful candidate will have to ensure best practices/standards regarding SQL and reporting, perform backup and recovery and also provide assistance to BI Developers and users.

Key Responsibilities:

Administer, monitor, and maintain SQL Server databases
Perform database tuning, backups, restores, and disaster recovery
Implement and manage security policies and access controls
Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to support application performance
Troubleshoot database-related issues and provide timely resolutions

Job Experience & Skills Required:

MCDBA and/or MCTS (SQL Administration)
3+ years’ experience in SQL as a DBA / 3+ years in IT
SQL 2000/SQL 2005/SQL 2008
Strong experience and knowledge of T-SQL scripting and must have SQL migration experience.
SSAS, SSIS and SSRS advantageous
