SQL Server Development DBA

SUMMARY:
An international client, with an arm in the online gaming industry, is looking for a SQL Server Development DBA to join their fast-growing team.

POSITION INFO:

The role requires you to be involved in design, development and support for standardized SQL Server systems. You will make most of your impact in the early stages of the Software Development Cycle. The role also involves project work as well as management of many production and development environments with the ability to write performant SQL code with concurrency, load and capacity

Skills & Experience:

SQL Server administration and development

Advanced T-SQL experience

Exposure to SQL Server through 2019

Performance tuning experience

Partitioning Experience

Exposure to Versioning Tools

Ability to mentor through coaching, presentation and documentation

Experience with:

Atlassian products (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket)

Large databases

Managing and analyzing load tests

Development lifecycle from design through to support

Critically appraising and peer reviewing code

SSIS

PowerShell

Utilizing Resource Groups

Familiarity with:

ITIL principles

Agile

DevOps

with Jenkins

Linux and bash
