JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client based in Lanseria is seeking a Cost Accountant (CIMA) with experience in Production / Manufacturing to join their finance team

Minimum requirements:
Completed CIMA qualification beneficial
Relevant Accounting Qualification
± 2 – 5 years costing practical experience in production or manufacturing environment is essential and non-negotiable
Previous experience liaising with operations managers is essential
Advanced Excel skills is required
Ability to communicate, both verbal and written, in English as reports will be submitted to Europe

Duties include but not limited to:
Cost analysis of on-site factory per machine/ per product / per staff
Technical reporting preparation
Data Analytics
Dataset compilations
Compute costs by analysing existing data and year on year data available
Maintain cost data on internal system and hard copy if so required
Accurate bill of material / production calculations
Variance reporting
Fixed assets accounting entries including additions, disposals, and depreciation
Inventory valuation which includes Raw material, WIP and Finished goods
Implementation and monitoring of internal controls around inventory to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records
Prepare reports to be submitted and communicated to Europe
