SUMMARY:
A leading global organisation in the mining and infrastructure sector is seeking a dynamic Management Accountant to join its high-performance finance team. This role offers exposure to a technically advanced, innovation-driven environment focused on sustainability, automation, and operational excellence.

POSITION INFO:
Our client is a global leader in providing equipment, services, and solutions to the mining, construction, and infrastructure industries. With operations in over 150 countries, the business is at the forefront of digitalisation, automation, and electrification within the sector, supporting customers to improve productivity and safety.

The Management Accountant will play a critical role in supporting financial decision-making, driving cost efficiencies, and partnering with operational teams across manufacturing, services, and aftermarket functions. The role requires a commercially minded finance professional who can translate complex financial data into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparation and analysis of monthly management accounts and variance reports
Partnering with operational teams to provide financial insights and cost control measures
Budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
Margin analysis across product lines, services, and aftermarket revenue streams
Inventory and cost accounting, including standard costing and stock analysis
CAPEX tracking and investment appraisal support
Continuous improvement of financial processes and reporting systems
Supporting audits and ensuring compliance with internal controls and group policies
Assisting with financial modelling and strategic decision-making initiatives

Job Experience & Skills Required:

BCom Accounting + CIMA
3–6 years’ experience in a management accounting role
Experience within manufacturing, engineering, mining, or industrial environments is highly advantageous
Strong understanding of cost accounting and operational finance
Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (SAP advantageous)
Proven ability to work with large data sets and translate into meaningful insights
Strong business partnering and stakeholder engagement skills
High attention to detail with a proactive, solutions-driven mindset
Ability to operate in a fast-paced, technically driven environment
