We are recruiting an Accomplished Regional Supply Chain Management professional with extensive experience in demand and supply planning, warehousing and logistics management, operations management, business and leadership development in Pharma/ healthcare/ Foods manufacturing

POSITION INFO:

Our client is an international manufacturing concern, head officed in South Central Asia. The role will report into the Head of Supply Chain SAGA in Asia with a dotted line to the SA CEO.

You ideally have worked with international supply chains throughout Africa and Asia, in the highly regulated manufacturing healthcare space. Your specialise in Forecasting, Inventory control, Risk management, and Demand Management Specialists analyse the drivers of demand and the disruptors supply in order to generate a forecast and to secure uninterrupted supply for a particular product or service for the SA market.

POSITION LEVEL: Associate Director

MANDATE: Manage and oversee the supply security, Demand Planning, derisking of supplies, cross functional project management to debottleneck supplies within the Supply Chain Function with the support of robust demand forecasting model and inventory planning processes. This is achieved by collaborating with functional teams across the [URL Removed] working capital expense and cash layout along with a consolidated view of raw material requirements are a key driver of success across all suppliers and products.

RESPONSIBILTIES:

• Develop and manage demand forecasts for all product categories
• Manage the inventory planning process
• Develop procedures for demand planning processes and systems and apply effectively to meet customer demand
• Manage the demand and planning function by collaborating cross functionally in order to achieve consensus for operational demand. API procurement consolidation and analysis
• Continuous improvement and relationship management
• Manage and develop your team of 4 direct reports: Demand planning manager and demand planners

• Manage out of stock risk - less than 1% of sales
• Manage air and sea freight cost based tranpsort straegy decisions
• Managing risks, debottle necking, planning with all stakeholders
• Forecasting, planning, budget and startplan collaboration
• Daily interaction with India Demand planning teams and support staff, your local regulatory and QA team, warehousing, logistics and commercial teams.

Value is high, complexity is large with large operational and transactional volumes. Critical part of the supply chain in de-risking the business and capitalising on opportunities, securing top line, profits and reputation.

Requirements:

• BCom Logistics or Industrial engineerign degree, trainign specif to demand planning, S&OP, forecasting and general management
• Finance, ERP systems and forecasting tools and processing, advanced Excel, statistical knowledge and business intelligence
• Min 7 years experience in the managing of complex supply chains and demand management in high value, high volume businesses. FMCG, Pharma or similar.
