Vacancy: Safety Officer - Mining/Processing (Thabazimbi area)

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the mining and processing sectors.
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards.
• Develop and implement safety training programs for staff at the mining site.
• Investigate accidents and incidents, documenting findings and recommendations for improvement.
• Collaborate with management to improve workplace safety and minimize risk.
• Maintain safety records and reports for regulatory compliance and internal analysis.
• Provide advice on health and safety policies and best practices.

Essential Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Relevant qualifications in Safety Officer training.

Desired Experience:

• Minimum of 5-10 years experience in a safety officer role, specifically in the mining and processing industry.
• Proven expertise in health and safety regulations and practices applicable to mining.
