Safety Officer

SUMMARY:
We’re seeking an experienced Safety Officer with at least 5 years’ experience in a processing plant environment.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements:

• Matric / Grade 12
• SAMTRAC qualification (essential)
• Additional Safety Management courses or certifications will be an advantage
• In-depth knowledge of and compliance with the Mine Health and Safety Act

• Reporting directly to the Site Manager
• Conducting safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments
• Managing incident and accident investigations
• Preparing and maintaining all safety reports and documentation
• Ensuring ongoing compliance and monitoring of safety standards
