JOB SUMMARY:
Sales & Service Support Administrator position in Western Cape, Cape Town.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Experience required :

Previous experience in office administration, stores and stock control and interaction with customers is important. A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Power-point, Word and Outlook. Good general computer literacy. Pastel experience required.

Organizational skills, committed and determined nature, self-motivated.

Qualifications :

Matric with 5 years administrative experience and sales exposure.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Handling any direct Customer Enquiries (Counter Sales and telesales),

• Completion of quotations and quotation follow up for Service Support, Call Outs or Repairs in line with company policies and procedures.

• Documenting and Processing of order acceptances for Service support, call outs or repairs in line with company policies and procedures.

• Processing of purchase orders for service support, call outs or repairs in line with company policies and procedures.

• Initiating of invoice process, and follow up on payments for service Support Sales.

• Managing the control database and monthly performance reporting for the service team.

• Self-learning on ABB products and others inclusive of attending product training.

• Although sales quotations and the sourcing of equipment for product sales and associated procurement is handled by the internal Sales team at Head office, you will assist this team with local support as may be required.

• Resource Control Management in terms of service personal commitments.

• Support Sales and Service with the follow up of quotations, purchases and deliveries,

• Assistance in planning of Road Shows and presentations to customers with HOD approval.

• Support the sales and marketing team efforts on a continued basis.

• Assist with the development of new or junior personnel,

• Stock control in terms of liaise with the stores and assess stock holding availability for customers on a regular basis, assist with monthly stock take and audits on stock holdings, and control stock issuing, receiving, GRV for both service and sales business functions.

• Obtain pricing for construction materials/equipment, then updating of the sales quotations and orders index

• Collaborate with teams to understand customer requirements and provide support

• Secure and renew orders interacting with Customer and Head Office for both sales and service.

• Help clients solve problems with supplied equipment.

• Assist in researching and developing new products, customers, marketing and business strategy functions.

When needed ask for technical requirements from customers and modify and adjust products to meet customers’ specific needs. Project equipment procurement will remain a head office function but assist in project procurements from time to time.
