SUMMARY:
Our client is seeking to employ an Account Manager with electronic sales experience in the platinum mining industry.
This position is located in the Steelpoort area and our client is seeking someone who has experience working in that area of Limpopo and who therefore has knowledge of the mines in the area. The position will require the employee to relocate there if not already in the area.
The purpose of the role is to achieve maximum sales profitability and growth by effectively managing key accounts in the Steelpoort area of Limpopo.

POSITION INFO:

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Account managment

Meeting and maintaining sales budget
Establishes, develops and maintains relationships with existing and prospective customers
Identifying sales opportunities
Negotiating and closing sales deals
Make telephone calls and in-person visits and presentations to existing and prospective customers
Coordinates sales effort with marketing, sales management, accounting, logistics and technical service groups
Expedites the resolution of customer problems and complaints
Customer and stakeholder satisfaction
Answering of technical questions from potential and existing customers
Attending trade shows and conferences and providing feedback on new products, pricing and market conditions
Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes.

Administration

Preparing and presenting bids and quotations that meet specific customer expectations and project requirements
Maintaining a database of information for sales prospects and existing customers
Collecting information about the customer to assist in the development of marketing plans and sales strategies

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Relevant sales experience in the Steelpoort area (platinum mining)
Diploma in marketing/sales OR Diploma / trades test in electronics with 3 – 5 years experience in electronic sales – in the mining industry
Computer literate (MS Office package)
Own vehicle and valid driver's license
