POSITION INFO:
Join an innovative team at the forefront of mining safety technology, specializing in Collision Avoidance Systems (CAS). As a Sales Application Engineer, you will apply your technical expertise to support the sales process, translating customer needs into tailored, high-quality solutions. Collaborate with regional sales teams, product managers, and engineering experts to drive adoption of cutting-edge CAS solutions in industrial and mining environments.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field
Additional certifications in sales engineering, industrial automation, or mining technology advantageous

Job Experience & Skills Required:

2–5 years’ experience in technical sales or engineering support within the mining or industrial technology sectors
Strong technical knowledge of mining safety systems, particularly Collision Avoidance Systems (CAS)
Experience with digital safety solutions and industrial automation systems
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, customer-friendly language
Sales acumen with a customer-centric mindset
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Familiarity with product lifecycle management and customer deployment processes
Willingness to travel internationally as required
Support regional sales teams in customer engagements and deal closure
Conduct technical product demonstrations for prospective and existing customers
Contribute to proposals, tenders, and RFIs/RFQs, ensuring technical accuracy
Provide recommendations based on risk assessments and system capabilities
Equip sales teams with technical knowledge to confidently address customer queries
Act as a liaison between customers and engineering/product teams
