JOB SUMMARY:
An established distributor of Agricultural products is seeking the above to provide sales support and assist the sales team in routine tasks such as capturing and following up on orders, drawing reports, internal communication, data capturing, general sales and administrative tasks.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum requirements for the role:

Must have a National Senior Certificate with business modules
A business degree/ currently studying a relevant business degree will be highly advantageous
Good organizational skills and excellent communication skills are required to deal with internal departments and external customers.
Must be computer literate, with a good understanding of MS Office and advanced excel skills.
The ability to work in a very dynamic, fast pace, and changing environment is essential
An awareness/understanding of general activities in a business environment will be required

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Assisting the sales team in daily activities such as proposals, product launch information, and direct channel sales support.
Following up with retailers on orders, order amendments and service delivery constraints.
Following up on orders internally with productions, logistics and invoicing departments
Conducting research on competitor’s prices, products, quality, and marketing initiatives in stores.
Maintaining organized sales information.
Capturing data and maintaining KPI reports for the teams.
Preparing presentations.
Preparing information for commercial meetings and participating in brainstorming ideas to help maximize sales.
Maintaining a smooth flow of feedback throughout the sales team and encouraging an environment of constructive and healthy criticism.
Working towards maintaining a positive relationship with all customers/retailers.

Salary package, including benefits, are highly negotiable depending on experience gained
