JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client based in the Pinetown Durban area, is seeking to employ a suitably qualified Sales Consulted to call on their existing clients, and target new sales in and around the South Coast areas of KZN. This role is best suited for a Sales Person who considers themselves to be more of a Hunter, rather than a Farmer of business. The candidate must have their own vehicle, and must be willing to travel.

KEY DUTIES:

Reaching company set targets
Selling of Company Solutions – i.e. Software & Hardware Products / Implementation & Conversion Projects.
Sourcing new sales opportunities and close sales to achieve company targets
Handling of Cold Calls
Achieve Monthly Sales targets
Reporting sales trends to Branch Manager
Making appointments to meet new and existing customers
Minimum of 8 - 10 sales (visits) per day
Building strong relationships with clients
Regular follow ups on quotations and closing of deals
Assist in monitoring that clients’ payments are processed
Selling to all sectors: Government, Corporate, Dealers, Handling all admin relating to the sales requirement: Emails, Quotes, Serializations, reports etc

Basic Mathematics
Computer Skills – MS Office including Outlook
Product knowledge
Proper time management skills
Presentation skills
Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to network
Customer Relations Building
Able to work under pressure
Able to work independently

REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Sales/Marketing/Business Management
3-6 years’ experience in the sales environment
Reliable vehicle
