Our client in the motor industry has an opportunity available for a Sales Consultant to be based at their branch in Lynwood, Pretoria.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties:

Follow “Opening Procedure”, includes daily stock balancing using the “Inventory Procedure”.
Greet the customers in a friendly and professional manner and establish what each customer’s needs are.
Apply the “Testing Procedure” provided to determine the state of the customer’s product.
Once the results have been determined of the product, take further steps to solve the customer’s problem - this will include other tests.
Complete the “Sales & Service Procedure".
Answering of telephones and giving the correct quote and pricing to the customer.
Monitor monthly sales per existing account customers, understand and investigate volume gains or declines.
Schedule visits with potential new customers by identifying dealers.
Assist in opening of new account customers and supplying the correct pricing.
Build good customer service levels and business relationships.
Do customer deliveries/Call-Outs and collections of stock when needed.
Report on customer product inquiries and make recommendations for improved sales.
Meet daily/monthly sales targets and conduct regular engagements with the Store Manager on performance against set targets.
Provide ideas to increase sales within the store.
Make suggestions on stock orders if necessary.
Resolve or escalate customer queries/complaints to the Store Manager.
When necessary follow the “Warranty Procedure” correctly.

Requirements:

Matric/Grade 12
Tertiary qualification advantageous
2-3 years' experience in a similar sales role
