Sales Coordinator

SUMMARY:
Eskort is looking for a highly organised and customer-focused Sales & Supply Chain Coordinator to join our Head Office team in Irene, Centurion. The ideal candidate will have experience in sales/customer service and supply chain coordination, with strong communication and problem-solving skills. This role requires someone who can effectively coordinate customer orders, liaise with Production and Logistics, manage delivery requirements, and build strong customer relationships in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

POSITION INFO:
Qualifications: Grade 12 Experience: Previous experience as a telesales representative or sales\/customer service-related role and Supply Chain. Knowledge Required: Good knowledge of relevant computer programs and telephone systems Skills Required: Ability to learn about products and services and describe\/explain them to individuals. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. To be comfortable presenting and sharing about Company products over the phone as well as dealing with customer complaints and doubts Sales Coordinator Capture and process customer orders with a focus on accuracy and compliance with customer requirements. Ensure customer orders are processed within agreed service level agreements. Release customer orders to Production within required cut-off times to support production planning. Coordinate order amendments and communicate changes to Production, Logistics, and customers. Respond promptly to customer enquiries regarding orders, delivery dates, and amendments. Built strong customer relationships through proactive communication and timely issue resolution. Supply Chain Coordination: Customer Service: Monitor outstanding orders and proactively follow up with Logistics to ensure successful deliveries. Coordinate urgent and add-on orders while meeting strict turnaround times. Confirm stock availability and delivery commitments to customers. Serve as the primary point of contact for customer order enquiries, shortages, delivery queries, and product availability. Resolve logistics-related customer issues within agreed service levels. Maintain regular communication regarding order progress, production constraints, and delivery schedules. Coordinate back orders and ensure customers receive accurate delivery updates. Production & Logistics Coordination: Escalated delivery concerns to ensure orders were completed within customer expectations. Assisted in resolving delivery-related queries and maintaining delivery visibility. Communicate production constraints and capacity limitations to Sales and customers. Liaise with Production, Planning, and Logistics to ensure seamless order fulfilment. Coordinate delivery rescheduling and transport arrangements. Investigate rejected deliveries and stock returns and facilitate timely resolution. Support cross-functional teams to minimize production delays and improve operational efficiency. Reporting & Operational Analysis: Prepare and distribute daily Strike Rate reports identifying customer short supplies. Conduct root cause investigations into supply shortages. Monitor recurring issues and coordinate corrective actions. Produce operational reports used to support management decision-making Project & New Product Coordination: Coordinate communication between Sales, Production, and Logistics for new product launches and customer projects. Ensure project information is accurate and communicated within agreed timelines. Monitor project progress to minimize delays caused by communication gaps. Support cross-functional planning for successful product implementation.
