ENVIRONMENT: A company dedicated to bridging the digital divide between frontline workers and everyday business processes is seeking a Sales Development Representative to help establish and shape its lead-generation function. This is not a traditional high-volume sales role; the successful candidate will focus on strategic prospecting, engaging senior enterprise stakeholders and generating high-quality opportunities that support meaningful and sustainable business growth.  This opportunity is ideally suited to someone who is passionate about B2B sales, enjoys building relationships with executive decision-makers and is excited by the prospect of developing a lead-generation function from the ground up.   DUTIES: •       Design and execute targeted outbound lead generation campaigns. •       Research and identify enterprise organisations and key decision-makers. •       Engage C-suite, HR, Operations, and Digital Transformation leaders through LinkedIn, email, phone, and other channels. •       Build meaningful relationships through personalised, insight-driven outreach. •       Qualify prospects and convert Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) into Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs). •       Schedule high-quality Discovery Meetings for the sales team. •       Maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline reporting. •       Analyse campaign performance and continuously improve outreach effectiveness. •       Partner closely with Marketing & Customer Success teams to optimise messaging, targeting, and lead generation strategies.   REQUIREMENTS: •       Based in Cape Town. •       Minimum 3 years' experience in sales, business development, lead generation, or a similar B2B sales role. •       Proven success engaging (enterprise) decision-makers through outbound prospecting. •       Experience using AI tools to improve prospecting efficiency and campaign effectiveness. •       Strong understanding of enterprise B2B sales cycles and consultative selling. •       Ability to create and optimise ICP-led outbound campaigns. •       Experience with CRM platforms (HubSpot preferred), LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and prospecting tools.   ATTRIBUTES: •       Confident communicating with Directors, Executives, and C-suite stakeholders. •       Highly organised, self-motivated, resilient, and results-driven. •       Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
