Drive industrial innovation! We’re seeking a Durban-based Sales Engineer to grow technical sales across key industries.

POSITION INFO:
A well-established engineering solutions provider is seeking a Sales Engineer to join their Durban branch. With decades of expertise in flow control, instrumentation, and automation systems, this company partners with clients across mining, sugar, petrochemical, food & beverage, water, and power generation industries.

Non-Negotiable Requirements

Technical or mechanical qualification (advantageous)
Proven technical sales experience within valves, flow control, or instrumentation industries
Strong client relationship management and business development skills
Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport
Willingness to travel across the region for client visits

Job Experience & Skills Required

Experience planning and conducting sales calls, presentations, and cold visits
Ability to prepare accurate quotations and technical proposals
Strong understanding of industrial process systems
Proven ability to meet and exceed sales budgets and growth targets
Professional communication skills with a customer-focused mindset
Confident self-starter with strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities
