Sales Engineer

SUMMARY:
New opportunity available as a Sales Engineer, this candidate should have experience in the pump industry. (Located in Richards Bay)

POSITION INFO:

Job Description:

• Calling on Consulting engineers, project houses, municipalities as directed by the Branch Manager.
• Weekly following of online tenders and processes.
• Fault finding and problem solving in the field.
• Pump selections with competent use of pump selection software.
• Generating of SAP quotations for pumps and spares and processing of orders on SAP.
• Following through on orders from processing to delivery stage.
• Liaising with factory and production on order status.
• Liaising with clients timeously regarding order status and delivery dates.
• Loading and updating of projects on C4C.
• Updating contacts on C4C on a weekly basis.
• Comply with and enforce all company policies and procedures, as well as carry your duties in a manner which conforms to current Health and Safety legislation, upholding company Health and Safety Policy.
• Carry out all other reasonable tasks that may be delegated from time to time
  

Education:  Minimum Requirements

• Mechanical Degree or Diploma (related to the position)

Job Experience & Skills Required:

• 3 – 5 years in similar position in the pump industry
• Computer literate, SAP would be to your advantage
• Very good communication skills, able to perform under pressure and meet deadlines
• Sound knowledge of company products including experience in component identification
• Working knowledge of pump software and understanding pump systems
