Our client, a well-established company within the engineering and manufacturing industry, is seeking an experienced Technical Sales Representative to join their commercial team based in Richards Bay. This is an excellent opportunity for a results-driven sales professional with a strong background in technical solution selling and experience within the engineering, manufacturing, or heavy industrial sectors. Key Responsibilities Identify and secure new business opportunities within the engineering and manufacturing industries. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, engineers, and procurement professionals. Conduct technical presentations and recommend tailored product and service solutions. Prepare and submit quotations, tenders, and commercial proposals. Manage the sales pipeline, forecast revenue, and achieve sales targets. Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and identify growth opportunities. Minimum Requirements Minimum 5 years' technical sales experience within the engineering, manufacturing, or heavy industrial sectors. Relevant post-matric qualification in Sales, Marketing, Engineering, or a related technical field advantageous. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and the ability to interpret technical drawings. Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel regionally. What We Offer Competitive basic salary.
