SUMMARY:
New opportunity available as a Sales Engineer, this candidate should have experience in the pump industry. (Located in Cape Town)

POSITION INFO:

Job Description:

Calling on Consulting engineers, project houses, municipalities as directed by the Branch Manager.
Weekly following of online tenders and processes.
Fault finding and problem solving in the field.
Pump selections with competent use of pump selection software.
Generating of SAP quotations for pumps and spares and processing of orders on SAP.
Following through on orders from processing to delivery stage.
Liaising with factory and production on order status.
Liaising with clients timeously regarding order status and delivery dates.
Loading and updating of projects on C4C.
Updating contacts on C4C on a weekly basis.
Comply with and enforce all company policies and procedures, as well as carry your duties in a manner which conforms to current Health and Safety legislation, upholding company Health and Safety Policy.
Carry out all other reasonable tasks that may be delegated from time to time

Education: Minimum Requirements

Mechanical Degree or Diploma (related to the position)

Job Experience & Skills Required:

3 – 5 years in similar position in the pump industry
Computer literate, SAP would be to your advantage
Very good communication skills, able to perform under pressure and meet deadlines
Sound knowledge of company products including experience in component identification
Working knowledge of pump software and understanding pump systems
