SUMMARY:
We are a specialist manufacturer in the precision casting sector, supplying high-quality components to industries including mining, automotive, aerospace, and general engineering. We are seeking a technically strong and commercially driven Sales Engineer to expand our client base and grow key accounts.

POSITION INFO:
Position Summary:
The Sales Engineer will be responsible for driving the sale of precision cast components by combining technical expertise with strong relationship management. The role involves understanding customer requirements, proposing engineered solutions, and managing projects from quotation through to delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and develop new business opportunities within target industries
Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients
Interpret technical drawings and specifications to prepare accurate quotations
Liaise with engineering and production teams to ensure feasibility and cost-effectiveness
Provide technical support and product recommendations to customers
Manage the full sales cycle from enquiry to order fulfilment
Conduct client visits, presentations, and negotiations
Monitor market trends and competitor activity

Minimum Requirements:

Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
3–8 years’ experience in a technical sales role within manufacturing or casting
Strong understanding of:
- Precision casting / investment casting processes
- Engineering drawings and specifications
Proven track record in sales and business development
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel
