POSITION INFO:
A growing engineering solutions business is looking for a Sales Engineer to develop new business and grow its presence across the North-West mining sector. This role is ideal for a technically minded salesperson who enjoys being in the field, building relationships and turning customer challenges into commercial opportunities. Non-Negotiable Requirements 3-5 years' experience in technical sales or business development Exposure to the mining, engineering, electrical or industrial sectors Strong client relationship and business development skills Valid driver's licence Willingness to travel extensively throughout the North-West region Strong technical, commercial and communication skills Job Experience & Skills Required Identify and pursue new business opportunities within mining operations across the North-West Build relationships with mine operations, engineering teams, procurement, contracts and project teams Conduct regular site visits and customer meetings Understand technical requirements and operational challenges and identify suitable solutions Develop and maintain a strong sales and project pipeline Prepare and develop commercial proposals and client solutions Work closely with technical teams to ensure solutions meet customer requirements Assist with tender responses and submissions Identify upcoming mining projects and new opportunities within the region Monitor competitor activity and market developments Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients Drive new project revenue and contribute to overall commercial growth A technical qualification in Electrical, Electronic, Automation, Instrumentation or a related engineering field would be advantageous For more engineering jobs, please visit: 🌐 If you have not received a response within two weeks, please consider your application unsuccessful.
