SUMMARY:
Expand your reach! We’re seeking a Filtration Sales Engineer to drive growth across South Africa & Africa.

POSITION INFO:
A global leader in industrial filtration and separation technology is seeking a dynamic Sales Engineer to spearhead business development across South Africa and key African regions.
This is a high-impact role for a technically minded professional with solid experience in filtration, process equipment, or mineral processing, and the drive to expand market presence beyond borders.

Non-Negotiable Requirements

â Degree or National Diploma in Mechanical, Chemical, or Process Engineering
â Minimum 5 years’ experience in technical sales within filtration, process, or industrial equipment sectors
â Strong knowledge of liquid-solid separation, filter press systems, or dust filtration
â Proven success managing accounts across mining, refining, and industrial plants
â Experience in cross-border trade and export sales within Southern or Sub-Saharan Africa
â Valid passport, driver’s licence, and willingness to travel frequently
â Strong business acumen and communication skills

Job Experience & Skills Required

Drive new business and manage key accounts across Southern Africa and neighbouring regions
Conduct on-site technical assessments and recommend fit-for-purpose filtration solutions
Prepare and negotiate technical quotations and tenders
Collaborate closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure client satisfaction
Build and maintain relationships with end-users, distributors, and project houses
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regional opportunities
Represent the company at international trade shows, site visits, and technical events
