A Company who specializes Rentals of Steam Generation, Compressors, Generators, Pumps, and Accessories for the FMCG, Mining, Petrochemical, Oil & Gas, Quarrying, Construction, Heavy Engineering, and Manufacturing Industries seeking a Business Development Manager.
Requirements:
Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or similar
3-5 years’ experience within the Steam Boiler or Chiller industries
Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Sales background in Products to the Mining/ Industrial Manufacturing Industries
Understanding of where to find resources and how to appropriately apply resources to find customer-centric solutions
Strategic and sophisticated approach when solving complex manufacturing problems
Soft skills, including but not limited to public speaking, active listening, relationship building, and negotiation
Key Responsibilities:
Product Sales (50%) - Prospect, qualify and support rental team in developing Temperature related Opportunities in the Petrochemical, Industrial manufacturing and Mining segments.
Training (20%) - Upskill and develop rental team to identify Opportunities and provide appropriate solutions.
Project Management (20%) - Support the rental team in assessing customer requirements related to steamboiler projects in terms of site assessment, piping, access and any Service or 3rd party requirements related to water treatment, commissioning and labour required for projects.
Innovate and find solutions for relevant products in order to find solutions for temperature related opportunities.
Take whatever action is appropriate and required to get the job done and to establish and maintain communications with all relevant internal and external people/employees relevant to this mission.
Market Analysis (5%) - Continuously pursue knowledge and understanding of economic trends and news that may affect the temperature control (steamboiler and chiller) industries.
Reporting (5%) - Prepare monthly and regular feedback on business activity, won & lost opportunities, pipeline of orders and performance against budget. Update information in Salesforce.
