Sales Executive – New Business Development

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

• Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
• Effectively cross-sell and up-sell products and services to both new and existing clients.
• Oversee the smooth onboarding of new clients, ensuring a seamless transition and exceptional service delivery.
• Represent the business at client meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations.
• Build and nurture strong relationships to drive client retention and revenue growth.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop and manage annual sales budgets and forecasts.
• Generate leads through outbound communication and convert them into active opportunities.
• Contribute to revenue generation through a combination of inside and field sales efforts.
• Lead contract and pricing negotiations to successfully close sales.

• 3–5 years of proven experience in a sales role, with a strong track record in new business development.
• A natural hunter mindset – energetic, proactive, and driven to exceed targets.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Confident in face-to-face engagements, presentations, and client interactions.
• Technologically savvy with proficiency in CRM and sales-related software.
• Matric (Grade 12) is essential.
• A relevant qualification in Sales, Marketing, or Business (Diploma/Degree/Certificate) is highly advantageous.
