Sales Hunter – Automotive Refinish CPT

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• New Business Development
  • Identify and target new body shops, fleets, and independent repair centres within the assigned territory.
  • Develop structured prospecting plans to generate new business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through ongoing lead generation.
  • Convert customers from competitor brands to premium automotive refinish systems.
• Customer Engagement & Solution Selling
  • Conduct on-site assessments of body shops and repair facilities.
  • Present and demonstrate automotive refinish products and process improvements.
• Distributor & Partner Collaboration
  • Work closely with distributors and industry partners to support customer acquisition initiatives.
  • Ensure seamless communication between customers, distributors, and technical support teams.
• Commercial Management
  • Negotiate pricing structures and customer contracts.
  • Deliver against sales revenue, volume, and profitability targets.
• Market Intelligence
  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends.
  • Identify market opportunities and customer needs.
• CRM & Reporting
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and customer interactions.
  • Provide regular pipeline forecasts and sales activity reports.

Minimum Requirements

• Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Chemistry, or related field.
• Experience
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in automotive refinish sales.
  • Proven track record in new business development.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive paint systems and operations.
• Skills & Competencies
  • Strong prospecting and lead generation capabilities.
  • Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
  • Able to sell value-based solutions and build strong relationships.
