Sales / Key Accounts Manager - Speciality Silicone Raw Materials

SUMMARY:
A global leader in fully integrated silicone raw materials requires the above to manage key accounts and support the growth of speciality silicones within a variety of different manufacturing industries within South Africa.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements for the role:

• A diploma or degree in either chemistry or a related sciences qual if preferred but not essential.
• Previous sales experience having sold raw materials into the industrial or related manufacturing industries is essential for the role.
• Must have excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and basic CRM knowledge is preferred.

• Manage key accounts and support the growth of speciality silicones within a variety of different manufacturing industries within South Africa.
• Identifying and engaging with clients across multiple industrial manufacturing sectors.
• Presenting and promoting speciality silicone-based product solutions to various manufacturing customers (adhesives, sealants, coatings, personal care, etc.).
• Developing strong relationships with new and existing customers to understand their needs and propose appropriate solutions.
• Collaborating with internal technical, marketing, and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of customer solutions.
• Identifying new business opportunities through market research, competitor analysis, and customer engagement.
• Participating in trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to increase brand visibility and network with potential clients.
• Preparing sales reports, forecasts, and presentations to track progress and support decision-making.
• Responding to customer inquiries promptly and professionally, providing product information and technical support where required.
• Monitoring customer satisfaction and proactively addressing any issues to strengthen relationships.
• Achieving agreed sales targets, KPIs, and growth objectives.
