Sales Manager

SUMMARY:
A leading company providing integrated fire protection, security, and technology solutions, is seeking an experienced and results-driven Branch Sales Manager to lead and grow the sales operations in Polokwane.
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving new business development, managing branch sales activities, expanding the customer base, and supporting the growth of the national sales team. This is a hands-on role requiring a strong focus on external sales, relationship building, and strategic business development.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities Sales & Business Development Drive new business development through proactive prospecting, networking, and cold calling. Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers. Identify sales opportunities and prepare tailored solutions to meet client requirements. Generate, prepare, and follow up on quotations to maximise conversion rates. Achieve monthly and annual sales targets. Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and customer database. Sales Management Lead the Polokwane branch sales function and contribute to national sales growth. Recruit, mentor, and support the development of the sales team where required. Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market share and revenue. Monitor sales performance and prepare regular management reports. Marketing Manage and coordinate the company's online marketing activities across all businesses within the group. Oversee content and marketing campaigns on platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, X (Twitter), company websites, and email marketing. Work closely with management to strengthen the brand and generate qualified sales leads. Administration Maintain accurate customer records and sales reports. Manage diaries, appointments, quotations, and follow-up activities. Ensure all sales administration is completed accurately and within required timeframes. Minimum Requirements Proven experience in external sales, business development, and sales management. Strong knowledge of B2B sales and customer relationship management. Experience in the fire protection, security, technical, engineering, construction, or related industries will be advantageous. Sound understanding of Health and Safety requirements. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Self-motivated with a strong drive to achieve and exceed sales targets. Strong organisational and time management skills. Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office. Valid driver's licence and own reliable vehicle.
