SUMMARY:
Our client based in Rustenburg, North West is seeking a driven and strong-willed Sales Manager that will excel in a fast-paced retail/FMCG environment and thrive under pressure.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Requirements:

Matric.
Relevant qualification.
5+ years’ experience in a similar role in a Retail/FMCG environment.
Valid driver’s licence.

Duties and responsibilities:

Direct and supervise employees engaged in sales.
Directly liaise with customers and suppliers.
Monitor sales activities to ensure that customers receive satisfactory service and quality goods.
Inventory of stock and reordering when inventory drops to a specified level.
Hire, train, and evaluate personnel in sales or marketing establishments, promoting or firing workers when appropriate.
Assign relevant employees to specific duties.
Enforce health and safety.
Analysing area opportunities and developing action plans accordingly.
Examine merchandise to ensure that it is correctly priced and displayed and that it functions as advertised.
Plan budgets and authorise payments and merchandise returns.
