Sales Manager

SUMMARY:
Our client based in Rustenburg, North West is seeking a driven and strong-willed Sales Manager that will excel in a fast-paced retail/FMCG environment and thrive under pressure.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Requirements:

• Matric.
• Relevant qualification.
• 5+ years’ experience in a similar role in a Retail/FMCG environment.
• Valid driver’s licence.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Direct and supervise employees engaged in sales.
• Directly liaise with customers and suppliers.
• Monitor sales activities to ensure that customers receive satisfactory service and quality goods.
• Inventory of stock and reordering when inventory drops to a specified level.
• Hire, train, and evaluate personnel in sales or marketing establishments, promoting or firing workers when appropriate.
• Assign relevant employees to specific duties.
• Enforce health and safety.
• Analysing area opportunities and developing action plans accordingly.
• Examine merchandise to ensure that it is correctly priced and displayed and that it functions as advertised.
• Plan budgets and authorise payments and merchandise returns.
