    Essential function:

    • The Sales Manager will have the primary role of building and implementing all sales initiatives â?? both locally and internationally â?? and report on performance and recommendations to reach our targets as we grow into a global business.
    • Data-driven, hands-on role that requires commercial acumen and a deep understanding of the consumer base, but that also understand the necessity of building relationships and trust and so enjoys interacting directly with customers and assisting in and concerns for conversion.
    • Will also be responsible for ensuring that the CRM system input from the sales team (as it grows) is clean and managed with care.
    • Perfect fit for this position needs to demonstrate exceptional leadership skills, portraying an ability to move and inspire individuals into a unified direction and vision.
    • Being a representative of the business, he/she must also be a likable and approachable individual who is able to form strong and long-lasting relationships both internally and externally on behalf of the business with local and international industry partners.
    Skills and Experience:

    Experience required:

    • Additional experience includes at least 5 to 6 yearsâ?? experience in a SaaS driven sales role, being able to prove their successful track record in engaging with customers and ensuring bottom line growth
    • Experience with CRM systems and particularly Salesforce, would be advantageous.
    • Experience in the Tourism or Hospitality industry would be highly advantageous.

     

    Qualification: 

    • Degree in Business Management or Marketing or  Information Technology or relevant qualification

     

    Key Accountabilities:

    Functional Skills:

    • Tasked with implementing sales strategies that further the companyâ??s agenda and drives enhanced revenue generation for the business.
    • Manage our initial user set through testing and grow the sales team as we are able to scale up the process.
    • Assist the department head to create and implement sales action plans that incorporate key actions that work to set KPIâ??s for the business.
    • The position of Sales Manager is also highly collaborative and, as such, will work closely with the marketing and product development teams. i.e. product/brand adjacencies, affinities, display rules, conducting trend analysis, and ensuring that these are aligned to support and drive sales and conversion.
    • In this collaboration, he/she also monitors the development of the businessâ??s product from its conceptualization through to its testing and launch and, therefore, carefully understands the product whose sales they must spearhead, making it easy to tailor unique strategies around that product.
    • Works closely with the analytics team in processing relevant data and information, translating it into actionable strategies that drive sales and lead to achievement of targets.
    • Responsible in sales administration, for example, the development of plans, strategies, structure, budget, crm, vision, and establishment of goals for the department
