Sales Manager / Executive

SUMMARY:
Exciting position in Supply Chain / Plastics industry for strong sales Exec.

POSITION INFO:

Our client is the leading supplier of plastic containers in the southern African market.  They are determined to attract, develop and retain the best people, and they are proud of the Group’s current leadership. If you are a strong, independent and progressive Sales Manager with experience in the plastics, retail or bottling industry this could be the exciting opportunity you have been looking for.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a customer services team
• Develop and leverage a strong industry network in the Southern African Retail and Bottling sectors
• Ability to interact at Executive level
• Analyze future industry needs and sell relevant systems and solutions
• Prepare project justifications with robust market analysis, future needs identification and financial feasibility
• Provide strategic direction for the company
• Actively participate in government partnerships and industry associations
• Execute on annual departmental KPIs

Requirements:

• Relevant tertiary degree
• Own reliable vehicle
• 10 years’ of relevant experience, 5 of which at a senior level
• Bottling / plastics / retail industry experience
• Financially astute
• Strong analytical and reporting skills
• Data driven
• Outstanding communication skills – ability to converse easily at executive level
• Experience with SalesForce, Syspro and Shopware advantageous

• Excellent understanding of Supply Chain industry
