SUMMARY:
Do you thrive on closing deals and building strong client relationships? Our client who
deals with food production and distribution in Sunderland Ridge - Centurion, is looking
for an ambitious Sales Officer who is hungry for success and passionate about
delivering quality food products to the market. The role is on a contractual basis.

POSITION INFO:
Required skills:

Matric (Grade 12)
2- 4 Years experience preferably within the food industry
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Negotiation and presentation abilities
Customer Service Orientation
Time management and organizational skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet targets
Computer proficiency (Excel, power point, etc.)

1. Sales and Lead Generation
Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through field visits, networking, and
referrals
Conduct market research to understand customer needs, competitors, and industry
trends
Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline
2. Customer Relationship Management
Build and maintain long-term, positive relationships with clients
Handle customer inquiries, provide product information and resolve issues promptly
Conduct regular follow ups to ensure customer satisfaction
3. Product promotion and presentation
Present and demonstrate products/services to potential clients
Participate in promotional activities, trade shows or marketing campaigns
Explain key product features and pricing clearly
4. Sales closing and negotiation
Prepare sales quotations and proposals
Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with customers
Close deals to meet or exceed monthly / quarterly sales targets
5. Reporting and administration
Maintain accurate sales records
Prepare weekly and monthly reports on sales performance, leads and conversions
Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, finance, logistics) to fulfill orders
