Building Materials manufacturing company seeks a Sales Rep to market their range of materials to Roofers, Truss manufacturers, Builders Merchants, Builders, Architects, Developers, Town planners and Local government. You will service the greater Cape Peninsula to Hermanus, Worcester up to about St Helena Bay on the West Coast. No overnight travel is needed.

The ideal candidate is young, energetic and willing to learn but mature enough to be able to operate at a high level, willing to learn and grow into a position of management. You work and operate in a technical build/production environment. You must be able to climb on a roof today, be on a building site tomorrow and the next day put on your creative hat to speak to an architect. The bulk of their market is repeat customers thus the ability to build long-term relationships is crucial and customer service is the area where we lead the market. You must have a proven track record, nobody that is job-hopping, please. Our remuneration for this position is a basic of R16 000pm and a commission structure that can easily double that. We give a fully maintained car that allows for reasonable private use, a cell phone and a computer. We do not offer medical or pension benefits.
