JOB DESCRIPTION:

The main responsibilities of the position includes:

Representing and selling the company’s hardware,tool products and services to customers and obtaining orders.
Achieving agreed sales volumes and GP targets for the area of responsibility.
Keeping the Regional Sales Manager informed of competitor activity and customer status and weekly activities.
Obtaining new business for The Company by calling on new and existing customers and obtaining orders and also promoting new products into the market.
Achieving high levels of customer satisfaction by:

Calling regularly on customers
Ensuring that orders are processed and delivered.
Following up with customers
Resolving customer problems and complaints speedily.

The ideal candidate must:

Have customer centric skills
Have excellent communication ability – written & verbal
Have excellent product knowledge
Be persuasive
Travel extensively
Have self confidence
Be computer literate – MS Windows

Selling the Company brand directly to retailers, contractors and independently owned businesses
