SALES REPRESENTATIVE Location: Durban, South Africa (Travel Required) Salary: R32 000 per month plus perks

POSITION INFO:

Our client is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Representative to join a leading provider of Two-Way Radio Communications, Wireless Systems, and related technology solutions. This role reports directly to the Managing Director and is suited to a motivated sales professional with strong technical aptitude and a passion for technology-driven solutions.

Job Purpose

The Sales Representative will be responsible for generating new business, managing client relationships, and promoting a portfolio of Two-Way Radio Communications, Wireless Systems, and related technology solutions. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong sales acumen and the ability to understand and articulate technical products effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

• Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within targeted sectors.
• Develop and maintain a strong and sustainable sales pipeline.
• Conduct client visits, presentations, product demonstrations, and negotiations.
• Prepare and deliver proposals, quotations, and tenders.

Client Relationship Management

• Build, manage, and strengthen long-term client relationships.
• Provide ongoing customer support to ensure a positive post-sales experience.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable solutions.

Product & Market Knowledge

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products and industry trends.
• Monitor competitor activity, market developments, and emerging technologies.

Collaboration & Reporting

• Work closely with technical, engineering, and operations teams to ensure accurate solution delivery.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
• Submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates to management.

Minimum Requirements

• Proven track record in sales, preferably within Wireless Two-Way Radio Communications and Communication Systems.
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Passion for technology and ability to quickly grasp technical concepts.
• Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Reliable own transport and a valid driver’s licence (essential).
