POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities New Business Development Identify and secure new business opportunities within the hospitality market. Prospect, cold call, and generate leads to build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline. Conduct regular client visits and sales presentations. Prepare quotations, proposals, and tender submissions. Negotiate and successfully close sales opportunities. Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets. Research market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities. Develop long-term relationships with new customers. Account Management Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients. Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities. Conduct regular account reviews and client visits. Ensure exceptional customer service and retention. Resolve client concerns in a professional and timely manner. Sales Administration Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions. Update CRM systems and sales reporting tools. Submit regular sales reports and forecasts. Liaise with internal teams regarding customer requirements and product availability. Minimum Requirements Grade 12 \/ Matric. Minimum 5 years' experience in external sales, business development, or a similar field sales role. Proven track record of new business acquisition and target achievement. Valid driver's licence and own reliable vehicle. Willingness to travel extensively throughout South Africa and occasionally into neighbouring countries. Experience working with CRM systems. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Experience selling into the hospitality, wholesale, FMCG, or related sectors. Established network within the hospitality industry. Cross-border sales experience. Knowledge of export and regional business practices. Key Competencies Strong hunter sales mentality. Results and target-driven.
