Sales Representative

SUMMARY:
Our client is looking for an energetic and results-driven Sales Representative to manage and grow their customer base across the Eastern Cape.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining existing business, developing new business opportunities, achieving sales targets and delivering excellent customer service.
The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of the Eastern Cape commercial market, be confident approaching decision-makers and have the ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships. Experience or knowledge of the fuel industry will be advantageous.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities Maintain and grow the existing customer base across the Eastern Cape. Identify and develop new business opportunities within the region. Achieve agreed sales, volume and net profit targets . Conduct cold calling, prospecting and client visits to generate new business. Contact prospective clients and present proposals. Meet daily and weekly customer call and prospecting targets. Secure new customer accounts and achieve agreed site acquisition targets. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and key decision-makers. Provide timely and effective solutions based on customer requirements. Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for growth. Prepare and submit weekly and monthly sales reports. Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts. Keep management informed of market developments, customer requirements and new business opportunities. Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies and procedures. Maintain accurate asset registers and complete the required reporting. Travel extensively throughout the Eastern Cape to service customers and develop new business. Take accountability for achieving regional sales, volume and profitability targets. Represent the company professionally and maintain a high standard of customer service. Requirements Matric \/ Grade 12. 1-3 years' sales experience. Experience in the fuel industry will be advantageous . Valid Driver's Licence. Willing and able to travel extensively throughout the Eastern Cape. Good knowledge of the Eastern Cape and commercial market.
