Sales Representative (Agri Sector)

Our client, a specialist chemical supplier to the agricultural sector, is seeking to employ an experienced Sales Representative in Port Elizabeth.

Must be A passion about bio-products, sustainable soils and crop health, and the integration of bio programs into farm practice.

Requirements  :

• Minimum of BSc Agric (4 years)
• MSc Agric would be preferable 
  • Majors – agronomy, crops, plant pathology, horticulture.
• AVCASA qualification is preferable
• At least 5 years work experience – as a chemical agent, product development manager, or researcher.
• Must be able to work with science, research and field data and be able convert this into sales and marketing tools.
• A working knowledge of product and market development in the crop and horticulture space
• An understanding and working knowledge of the chemical regulatory world of agriculture.
• Must have a working knowledge of new and relevant agri tech methods, and crop monitoring systems. 
• A working knowledge of the agri chemical, fertilizer or biological markets.
• A passion for sustainability.
• Agric contacts/ network in Eastern Cape would be an advantage.
