Our client in the Engineering / Manufacturing Industry is seeking a dynamic Sales Representative to join our team. This key role is in building and maintaining strong relationships with both external and internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, driving sales to meet and exceed set targets.

POSITION INFO:
Position: Sales Representative (Engineering \/ Manufacturing) Industry: Engineering \/ Manufacturing Location: Durban, Westmead Salary: Market related MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Valid South African Driver's License Senior Certificate At least 2 years of proven sales experience, in the high-end engineering industry Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. SKILLS: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present and negotiate with all levels of management in the engineering field Disciplined, creative thinker with problem-solving skills and a positive attitude. Highly motivated to succeed in a sales-driven environment. Strong administrative skills with the ability to work independently. Ability to work under pressure, take initiative, and think quickly. Willingness to travel for trade shows and industry-related events. EXPERIENCE: A Min of 3 years' experience as Sales Representative in the Engineering \/ Manufacturing industry Laser \/ CNC Machinery Industry DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Must be able to perform various tasks such as: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing customers. Negotiate customer discounts in line with company targets. Achieve personal and business targets. Report on sales performance and identify new opportunities. Maximize sales profitability through effective strategies. Identify and develop new client leads, guiding them in selecting the right products to meet their business needs. Stay informed on product offerings, market trends, and competitor activities. Complete internal sales and supplier product training. Develop and execute personal sales strategies. Utilize social media platforms to generate new business leads.
