JOB SUMMARY:
SALES REPRESENTATIVE

JOB DESCRIPTION:

SALES REPRESENTATIVE

To develop business partnerships and sound relationships with external customers

Promoting and selling NAGS products and services

Excellent planning, around call cycles and sales strategies

Provide input, based on customer intelligence, for the development of divisional sales strategies

Achieving specified monthly sales targets

Improve market share by maintaining and establishing new business, and ensuring at all times that the service level is maintained at each customer/sales point

Set up, attend and present at road shows/customer events

Grow client base and maintain healthy relationships with client

Business developments-grow and develop client base

Provide market intelligence and monitor competitor sales trends

Identify areas on concern in the network and assist with action plans to resolve

Follow up on leads and referrals

Identify and develop sales prospects – new business opportunities

Reporting – on sales activities in the network, forecasts and trend analysis

Assist with requests for marketing material

Fully administer client accounts

Credit responsibility-ensure accounts and payments are maintained for designated clients

Administration responsibility-reconcile problematic accounts to ensure on time payments

GENERAL

Requires driver’s license, own reliable vehicle and mobile telephone

Required to attend industry events/conferences/meetings outside normal working hours

Maintain high code of conduct, ethics and professionalism

Comply with prescribed Brand standards and company codes/policies
