Sales Specialist - IT/Online/Retail/ e-Commerce

Our Client a Global Tech firm is seeking a Sales Specialist to join their team in Cape town . They offer stability, growth, attractive salary along with benefits and a great working environment.

As a Sales Specialist, you'll be responsible for generating sales and revenue through all channels. You will also support the development of new business opportunities in order to generate additional revenue. You may be based at our Head Office or on site with one of our clients. Your work will often reach across all areas of the business and into other departments such as marketing, product management or design.

Requirements

1. Investigates, plans, and implements strategies for sales force development
2. Sets strategic direction in the sales organization by creating a balanced approach to selling products or services.
3. Develops and manages qualified sales force by training, recruiting, motivating, evaluating, and promoting sales professionals.
4. Monitors and influences the performance of the sales force using results from sales and marketing efforts.

Qualifications

1. Current Sales Professional License or current CPR Certification preferred.
2. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field required
3. Experience with online and physical retail, including e-commerce with a focus on product development and sales; experience in HubSpot a plus.
4. Must have proven track record of success with the following skills: prospecting, customer service, developing and maintaining relationships with prospects and clients, identifying opportunities for marketing/advertising, negotiating and closing deals.
