Primary Purpose of the Position:
Reporting to the Exports Manager, the role of a Sales Support Specialist is to service the needs of a company's existing clients, respond to new sales inquiries and to support the activities of the external sales team.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Working relationship with Internal Customers: Sales Operations, Design Team, Logistics, General and Regional Managers.
• External Customers: Vendors, Resellers, End-Users and Vendor Alliance Partners.
• Receive inbound customer sales inquiries and provide quotations, product/service information, and pricing details, promoting the features and benefits of the brand’s products/services.
• Process sales orders and arrange the dispatch and administration of products/services sold.
• Receive, manage, or escalate customer complaints.
• Ensure that the relevant quote is done on the Customer Relationship Management system.
• Manage the quote and deal registration process through to completion by liaising with the Vendor, Design team, Accounts and Logistics where required.
• Provide daily feedback to Export Manager on quotes in progress and timelines.
• Revision of quotes as required.
• Compilation and distribution of backlog reports weekly.

• Matric: Maths and English subjects.
• Excellent English business language skills.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in administration of quotations with various vendors.
• Knowledge of Vendor Structures.
• Proven knowledge of CRM Systems.
• Preferred : Relevant Diploma (Business/ Administration/ Customer service).
• Preferred: Technical background.
• Microsoft Excel competency : Intermediate level.
