Sales Support and Customer Service Representative

POSITION INFO:
About the role The incumbent will support daily sales operations by maintaining accurate order information, assisting with logistics coordination, and ensuring customer requirements and pricing structures are correctly applied. The role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment. Responsibilities: Order Processing & Coordination Monitor dashboards and scanning facility updates received from stores to confirm order readiness. Process customer orders accurately and efficiently in line with company procedures. Ensure all embroidery and order-related information is captured and communicatedcorrectly. Track orders from stock picking and compilation through to final delivery. Ensure orders are delivered on or before the required delivery date. Customer Service & Communication Serve as a key point of contact for customer queries, order updates, and delivery timelines. Provide professional and efficient customer support, resolving issues and ensuring customer satisfaction. Keep customers informed of order progress and any relevant changes or delays. Professionally manage and assist with walk-in customer inquiries. Invoicing & Administrative Support Prepare and process invoices accurately for completed and dispatched orders. Provide cross-functional administrative support to the internal sales team. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to orders, deliveries, and invoicing. Perform general administrative duties to support sales and customer service operations. Internal Coordination & Logistics Coordinate with stores to ensure timely order processing and delivery execution. Liaise with the purchasing department to support timely procurement and stock availability. Book delivery slots and coordinate logistics requirements through the relevant delivery platforms\/journeys. Monitor and manage orders through internal systems and dashboards. Detailed notes are to be made on every sales order after every action \/ call \/ communication relating to the SO (if additional action required - call or e-mail to the relevant party - then update notes on SO) Required delivery dates to be updated (if needed) after advising the customer of early\/delay delivery Sales Support Provide ongoing operational and administrative support to the sales team. Assist in ensuring the correct pricing structures are applied to customer orders. Support customer events and other sales-related activities as required. Minimum Requirements South African Unemployed youth between the ages of 18 and 34. Must not have participated on the YES programme before. Matric. A qualification in Business Administration, Sales, Customer Service or a related field will be advantageous.
