Sales Training Instruction Design Specialist - Cape Town/ Midrand

SUMMARY:
Seeking a Sales Training Instruction Design Specialist with a Tertiary Degree plus professional qualification (e.g. Instructional Technology/Design Qualification, and experience in Instructional Design and/or Technical writing, for a position with a large corporate.

POSITION INFO:

Job Role

Responsible for Research, Design, Development and Delivery of Training and Workshops for Sales and Support staff. Supplementary to this role are duties such as supporting the business with queries resolution and information updates.

 Responsibilities

• Development of Instructional content used to support blended, online and face to face learning interventions using necessary authoring tools and LMS.
• Provide support to the business by integrating Technology into the curriculum and working with the business to successfully implement learning technologies.
• Assist with the development of web based and multimedia instructional materials to support learning and development.
• Assessing instructional needs within the business and identifying applicable solutions to enhance learning.
• Structure and write training material according to adult learning principles and in competency based formats.
• Scoping and managing research and design projects as and when required.
• Designing training workshops in relation to content, structure and process.
• Rolling out of new training including pilots and train-the trainer sessions.
• Maintaining, updating and reviewing of existing training content.
• Coaching and mentoring of internal clients.
• Report writing.
• Attend various meetings and undertake project support as and when required.
• Client relationship management.
• Provide support to team for facilitating and process management as required.

 Requirements

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification
• Relevant professional qualification (e.g. Instructional Technology/Design Qualification)

Experience

• Experience working in a related role in an intermediary support environment
• Experience with authoring e-learning tools
• Experience in Instructional Design and/or Technical writing
• Experience in Research and Development
• Experience in Database Management & Analysis.
• Financial Services experience, ideally within a Sales and/ or Support environment.

Other Requirements

• Travelling is a requirement of this role and own transport is a prerequisite.
