JOB SUMMARY:
Our client in the Business sector has an opportunity available for a Sales and Marketing Coordinator in Port Elizabeth/Gqeberha.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties:

MEMBERSHIP/CORPORATE PARTNERS RECRUITMENT:
  • Plan and implement the recruitment strategy of new members in line with agreed targets and report regularly on progress. Grow numerical value of membership/corporate partners and associated revenue.
  • Plan and co-ordinate the welcome and orientation of new members.
MEMBERSHIP/CORPORATE PARTNERS RETENTION:
  • Plan, co-ordinate and implement actions aimed at the retention of members/corporate partners and report regularly on progress.
  • Co-ordinate, identify and resolve member concerns / complains and follow up to resolution. Member retention is vital to the organisation's growth, a proper retention strategy must be drawn up and followed.
MEMBERSHIP/CORPORATE PARTNER ADMIN:
  • Ensure feedback on member/corporate partners’ needs, including advice on desired networking events and opportunities, and member achievements / news, is channelled back into the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
  • Ensure all spreadsheets for the division is updated timeously and liaise with the Financial Administrator to ensure that this balances with the account.
ADVERTISING SALES:
  • Selling of advertising space with agreed targets and the
    requirements of the publication (but not limited to):
    - Printed publications
    - Electronic
ADVERTISING SALES ADMIN:
  • Develop market related advertising and sponsorship rates and packages that offer a positive value proposition for members and other advertisers/sponsors.
  • Keep accurate and thorough records of advertisers and engagements on CRM.
  • Submit complete reports according to schedule, and provide regular advertising updates to the editorial teams.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary Qualification, preferably in Marketing and Sales
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in sales essential
  • Computer Literacy
  • Strong Public Relations personality
