Well-established company based in Gauteng seeks a Sales and Operations Director to join their team!

POSITION INFO:

WCandidate Profile:

• A strategic and dynamic leader with 20–25 years of experience in industrial equipment sales and operations, preferably in pump technologies.
• Proven track record of managing regional business units, driving revenue growth, and leading high-performing sales teams.
• Strong understanding of Sub-Saharan African markets with existing networks among end-users, OEMs, consultants, and distributors.
• Demonstrated ability to lead operations and sales efforts across diverse and fast-paced environments.
• Technically qualified in Mechanical Engineering (B.Eng, B.Sc Eng, B.Tech, or Diploma).
• Fluent in English; proficiency in French or Portuguese is an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute sales strategies to grow market share Lead business development efforts, focusing on key accounts, consultants, projects, and public sector opportunities
• Manage and improve operational functions including inventory, logistics, technical support, and customer service.
• Monitor performance metrics, control costs, and scale operations to support business goals.
• Mentor and manage cross-functional teams, promoting a high-performance, accountable culture.
• Strengthen relationships with customers and partners, expanding dealer and service networks to enhance support and satisfaction.
